To All My Friends in College,
I would like to invite you to the College Student Retreat. It is a yearly weekend event for Anabaptist college students. The first year I went with few expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun I had. I had no idea how great it would be to stay up late (like normal college students) talking with other Mennonite students about the best colleges, worst profs, and what it means to be Mennonite in college. Every year I am encouraged in my unique position as an Anabaptist college "kid." The sessions are interesting & thought-provoking.

Here are a few pictures from other years...

Thanks for passing that on--sounds like fun! And Congrats on your RN degree!!!!!!!!!!! Vernon graduates in May, with hopes of starting med school in the fall. Right now he's waiting on the mail to bring him the letter from med school..............
At "The Castle"??!! I'm a wee bit jealous!
Our youth group has a retreat there every spring---I love that place! We're only half an hour or so away; stop in if you feel the urge!
so know since have your degree, will you be there this summer?
wow I want to go stay in that beautiful place - I guess I'll have to pretend to be in college and maybe little more Anabaptist
hey, sounds like you're staying busy!!! and congrats to you on becoming an RN!!!!!! that's awesome!!! i would love to have lunch with you sometime too and catch up......the only problem tho is we'll have to wait till i come back to pa or you could always come to fl. :) but we will have to get together somtime!
Hey, Crystal! This is Crystal from way back in high school days....perhaps you might have forgotten my face. Anyhoo, I just was checking out Kris's xanga site because she just found mine and then I was looking to see if I knew anyone else...and surprise! So I thought I would say hey! It appears as though you are a RN but I can't quite gather too much more info. I'd love to hear what's going on in your life these days! I'll talk to you later! Crystal
thanks, I just might have to give that some serious consideration.
Thanks for the reminder! I've wanted to go for several years already but so far I haven't attended. I definitely want to be there this year.
that sounds really kewl!
Thanks for your generosity! I'm not in CRNA school yet, I apply this fall. I'm graduating with my BSN in May, but I've been an RN for about 2yrs.
You just graduated, right?
If only I had read your previous posts before asking an obvious question. I dreaded my OB rotation, but ended up loving it. Its a happy place (normally) and the babies are so cute and cuddly.
i'm not in college anymore, but that wkend sounds neat. for some reason, the link didn't work for me.
hey... I just got your xanga and e mail from Louisa! I saw you in some of her pics and was curious if you had anything on line :) Anyways, yea... I am going to assume you remember me... I met you at the college students' retreat this past summer :) I'm Sierra by the way... I forget sometimes that my screen name doesn't give a clue to who I am! :) Anyways, hope everything is going good with you and thought I would say hey and hope to hear from you sometime soon! :) Doesn't look like you post much... but hopefully you check it occasionally! God bless and have a good weekend!
Hey, gir! i just thought I would say once again that it was good seeing you this past Sunday!
No kidding!! You are definitely Lisa's sister. You probably don't know me, but I am Erikson Lehman from FBEP. Louisa's brother is married to my sister. That might help you make the connection. I can relate to some of the stuff you have on your site. I happen to be an EMT and run on an ambulance crew. Yes, I play quite a bit of v-ball with Lisa now that she is here at FB. I knew Lisa before she came up here and have seen you but did not introduce myself. You will have to come up and visit Lisa and maybe we will be able to meet each other.
